ggw_bach True, true (re: the full outcome of the digital age won’t be seen for a few years. Don’t write them off yet!!). However, after hearing, firsthand, things come out of their mouth, like: “What kinds of dessert do you got?”, “It’s electronical*,” and “O-M-G, his father died?” can you blame me for being highly skeptical? LOL! *I looked this up and it’s actually a word! Insane. It sounds SO wrong.
Meet Chumley
Natalee Thanks! She’s a sweetie…a temperamental sweetie, but a sweetie nonetheless.
Sarah AND my yoga cat snorts when she grooms herself. LOL! Thanks, glad to be back!
Cindi Thank you! I think I’m gonna keep her trimmed this same way, but let it grow out in the colder months. (more…)
Since I don’t have to be at work until later today, I’ve actually had time to play around on the Internet to see what I’ve been missing. So, while looking for a new profile song for my MySpace page, I looked up songs by the Rockabilly/Country/Garage group Southern Culture On The Skids. I’ve liked them ever since I heard one of their songs (My Baby’s Got The Strangest Ways) on the I Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack. So, I stumbled across a new favorite called Werewolf and have since added it as my profile song. I’ve arrived at one conclusion: I WANT THIS CD! Click here to hear Werewolf. You might just have a new favorite too.

In a somewhat related topic to tomorrow’s post, in late April, I am going to my parents’ house and helping my dad clear out a lot of my mom’s clothing, jewelry and other assorted items. I’m lucky (I’m uncomfortable using this word, but ‘blessed?’) to have 3 2 good friends going with me, to lend a hand.
P is one of those people I asked…eventually. I wasn’t initially going to because I wasn’t sure we knew each other well enough for me to ask such a personal favor, but I did and was surprised when he said that he would. Now I feel like one more selfish asshole asking him to help them out. Needless to say I feel like a hypocrite. I’ve considered rescinding the request, but I really need his help. I dunno. (more…)
The Book of Bunny Suicides by Andy Riley © 2003
No need for a synopsis with this one, it’s pretty self-explanatory…and endearingly hilarious. I stumbled across this series of books last year, when I bought Book of Bunny Suicides II for a friend’s birthday. Then, at Christmastime, I bought another friend the Bunny Suicides day planner. Now, finally, I’ve bought the book that started it all. You can pick up a used copy for around $2 over at Amazon. (more…)
One of the few remakes out there that I’m really looking forward to. LOVE the original (1983’s The House on Sorority Row), but this one looks right up my alley as well. I’m a sucker for slashers with a costumed killer and a body count!
