There’s No Place Like Home

If you remember, I mentioned in a previous post (March 24th) that I would be traveling back home to begin packing up and removing my mom’s clothes and other personal items, for either resale (re: my humongoid garage sale coming the last weekend in May) or to keep for sentimental reasons. This is being done because my dad is in the process of getting her placed in a home and he wants to begin clearing the clutter. This is just one of what I’m sure will be many trips there to load up stuff. My friend N and P will be accompanying me.

Well, D-day has come. I will be leaving Wednesday morning and returning sometime Saturday. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I D R E A D it. Absolutely. Not because it’s a “hassle” or physically taxing, but I know, regardless of how good an actor I am, it is going to be emotionally draining.
