When I went home to begin cleaning out the house, I ran across one of my failed attempts at a diary. Reading this only goes to prove 2 things: [1] Some things never change and [2] My social life was always teetering on the edge of a void. LOL!
First 2 pages of an otherwise empty diary, circa 1984:
- Favorite Foods: pizza, chicken nuggets, hamburger, shrimp spaghetti, lasagna
- Favorite Sweets: red Jell-O with peaches, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, gum, marshmallow cookies, white wedding cake
- Favorite Beverages: Sprite, frozen margaritas, grape juice
- Favorite Colors: lime green, bright red, bright orange, deep or lite purple, black, bright yellow
- Favorite Books: all the Twilight & Dark Forces (series), all of Stephen King’s
- Favorite Magazines: Star Hits, Muscle and Fitness, Rolling Stone
- Favorite Designers: Polo, OP (Ocean Pacific), Izod, Hobie, Oakbrook, Panama Jack
- Favorite Places to be: 6 Flags, Library of Congress, anywhere with my friends, school
- Favorite Kind of Day: windy, rainy, real snowy
- Favorite T.V. Shows: “V,” Otherworld, Charles in Charge, Scene of the Crime, Tales From the Darkside and many more
- Favorite Movies: The Breakfast Club, Ghostbusters, Gremlins, All of Me, all of the Friday the 13ths
- Movies I Want to See: Ghoulies, Fantasia, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beverly Hills Cop
