I swung by my friend Gary’s store in nearby Handley today, and did a little retail therapy, then went around the corner to the Créme De La Créme cake shop. If you remember, I’ve mentioned before that in addition to making cakes for special occasions, they also sell cakes by the slice, as well as cupcakes. Well, I decided to try their pineapple cocoanut cake. I asked if it was a ‘wet’ cake (kinda like pineapple upside down cake or a cake with ‘chunks’ of fruit, etc.), but she assured me that it was a pineapple FLAVORED cake with fresh cocoanut frosting (i.e. none of the usual cocoanut ‘flakes’…much smoother). And OMG, if it wasn’t the best cake I think I’ve ever tasted. EVER. It was perfect. I now officially have a favorite cake, just so you know.
Also, I finally got caught up (read addicted) with the most recent episode of Harper’s Island (episode 10). Now I just have to wait it out with everyone else, to see how the last three episodes play out. I don’t wan to spoil it for anyone who intends on watching or who currently is watching, but I can tell you this much: I know who the killer(s) is. I just KNOW it, and thought so from the beginning, so if you wanna compare notes, lemme know.

Alright — I’m addicted to Harper’s Island, too. I have my theories, but I also don’t want to spoil it for anyone!
