Newsoundtheory- Volume 2 [Various Artists] © 2003
Comments: I LOVE this series of CDs. I got turned onto them when I saw an advert for them in the Roxy Re-Modeled CD, went to Amazon to listen to some samples, and got hooked! Great “chillout”-style music. Highly recommended!

Newsoundtheory- Volume 4 [Various Artists] © 2006
Roxy Music- Avalon © 1983
Comments: I was inspired to buy this CD for 2 reasons: I found it in the ‘Clearance’ section at Half Price Books for $2, and I loved the Roxy Re-Modeled CD so much, it made me want to hear the original versions. Good CD, if not their best one.
Massive Attack- Mezzanine © 1998
Roxy Re-Modeled [Various Artists]
Comments: I can’t stop listening to this CD! I made copies for a few friends, but they didn’t have much to say about it. Oh well, I guess it’s not for everyone, but I love it. If you’re married to the original versions by the original artists (re: Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry), then this CD may not appeal to you. HOWEVER, if you’re open to some good covers, then you just may like it. Highly recommended! Four stars!
Depeche Mode- Speak & Spell © 1981
Kruder & Dorfmeister- G-Stoned © 1993
David Cross- Shut Up, You Fucking Baby! © 2002
Information Society- Strange Haircuts, Cardboard Guitars, And Computer Samples © 2001
Neneh Cherry- Raw Like Sushi © 1989
Comments: I dunno what it is about Neneh Cherry’s single Buffalo Stance, but I’ve always loved it. I think it’s partly because after much repeated listenings back in the 80′s, I finally got the lyrics DOWN and could sing along with the Rap-ish-style lyrics. It’s just a catchy tune that I’ve never stopped loving. The whole album is actually pretty good.
Howard Jones- Dream Into Action © 1984
Paul Oakenfold- Greatest Hits & Remixes © 2007
The Lightning Seeds- Sense © 1992
The Classic Chillout Album [Various Artists] © 2002
The Cult- Sonic Temple © 1989
The Human League- Original Remixes & Rarities © 2005
Comments: I forget just how ahead of their time The Human League actually were. I have their music videos on DVD, and always thought they were just the coolest. This GREAT remix CD keeps the original sound & feel of what made them, well, The Human League, but, in the process, ups the dance ante. Timeless. Highly recommended!
The Original 80′s Remix Boxset [Various Artists] © 2007
Comments: I love me some remixes, so this 3 CD set is just what the doctor ordered! A nice blast from the past with plenty of songs that fly under the usual 80′s compilation fair. Recommended!
Janet Jackson- Design of a Decade © 1995
Prince- The Hits/The B-Sides © 1993
ThriveMix Presents Electro [Various Artists] © 2006
