Comment: MAN! I wanted ‘Ronnie’ (Paul DeAngelo) SO bad in the original! Seriously hot! And to be honest, he still looks good (NICE bod), but that godawful ‘hair system’ or whatever he’s got on his head, looks SO awful. I’ll never understand why the friends of the man who chooses one of these hair ‘systems’ wouldn’t level with their friend and tell them it looks awful. I dunno, maybe they do and the person with said hair system is in denial. Baffling.

• Mr. Bean: The Whole Bean © 1990-95
Comment: This one was kind of a disappointment: On the one hand, I loved watching all the episodes that I have fond memories of watching on channel 13 (our public television station), BUT the boxset isn’t appropriately named, because the episodes are EDITED. Grrrr! I hate when they do that! First ALF, now Mr. Bean. So irritating!

I noticed just today that Mr. Bean was on the cable movie line-up. When I was a kid I liked Fractured Fairy Tales. I especially remember the beginning of it when the big book would slam shut on a character??
Just curious…have you ever seen the 1973 movie The Wicker Man? It has Britt Ekland, Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward in it? I think it has become somewhat of a cult classic. I have never seen the Nic Cage movie of the same title but I have heard they are not comparable. The ’73 movie is kinda campy and weird but it sucked me in and I like it.
