Half Price Criterion DVD Sale!

Okay, I know, I know. You’re thinking the next words out of my mouth should be “Hi, my name is Kirk and I’m a movieholic.” BUT, I had to tell you about a sale that Barnes & Noble is having right now. All their Criterion DVDs are HALF PRICE right now, through the 3rd of August. If the name ‘Criterion‘ means nothing to you, then you probably won’t flinch whilst reading this post. However, if you are a fan of classic and contemporary films that are only available through the Criterion collection, then you know how ex$pensive these movies usually are ($40 and up). I bought two that I have been wanting for a long time, but couldn’t bring myself to pay $40+ each for either of them; with this sale, I got TWO for the price of one! Very exciting (to me anyway)! Check out the video clip from 1929′s Pandora’s Box (still sensationally modern), originally a silent film, synced to the music of The Killer’s ‘Mr. Brightside‘.

Yeah–I got David Bowie’s The Man Who Fell To Earth and The Rolling Stones’ Gimme Shelter…I will never catch up with you, though. I will definitely have to listen to music, watch movies and read books when I’m dead.
