I Can’t Believe I Ate the Whole Thing

There’s a saying that goes ‘When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.’ Well, that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing with my time off. Of course, everything I’ve bought is nothing I couldn’t have lived without, but I like it. It’ll all probably come back to bite me in my (ample) ass, but oh well. What’s done is done.

Since I officially head back to work today, I thought I would share with you my latest purchase: 70′s vintage iron-ons! I went ape over at eBay, where I used to go ‘ape’ on a regular basis, but haven’t bought from them in nearly a decade. Well, if you knew how much and for how long I’ve been wanting some of these, you’d understand. Besides, summer can’t last forever, and I see all of these going on some comfy hoodies.

[1] Who doesn’t love Dracula? OMG, I dig this iron-on SO much! Perhaps a deep purple hoodie?
[2] Jaws! A movie lovers mainstay. I see this one going on either a navy blue or light blue hoodie.
[3] Ever since I saw Johnny Knoxville wearing this on a red ringer T-shirt, I’ve wanted it. I’ll probably cut the ‘Wrestling’ part off. I say red hoodie for this one. Or white.
[4] M-m-m pizza! I dunno what color hoodie for this one yet.
[5] Cary Grant. *sigh* I see a gray hoodie in his future.
[6] ‘Suck It’ pretty much sums how I feel most of the time, that plus the impending holiday season spurred me to purchase this one. Black hoodie?
[7] O-M-G. I have been wanting this iron-on ever since I saw it advertise in the comic books, back in the 70s! But, if your parents were like mine, buying anything through the mail was like asking if you could go backpacking in Europe for the summer. Forget it. I bought TWO of these, so I definitely see a orange-gold hoodie & either a pink or chocolate brown hoodie for the other!
[8] I HAD THIS IRON-ON! I LOVED this iron-on as a kid! It was on an orange T-shirt and I wore the hell out of it. I see this one going on a burgundy hoodie.

Well, I hope you got as big a kick out of these as I did (will). Can’t wait to get these in the mail!
