When in Rome © 1988
Comments: Used to be SO in love with Andrew Mann (the middle guy). HOT!
The Kings of Electro [Import] © 2007
Comments: Two CD set that pretty much stinks. My luck had to run out sometime. A few good tracks, but not enough to warrant this purchase. Avoid
Abbey Lincoln’s Affair © 1993
Mickey Champion- Bam-A-Lam © 2008
David Bowie- Outside © 1995
Comments: Bought this album because I loved The Pet Shop Boys‘ video version of Hallo Spaceboy and the song I’m Deranged from the Lost Highway soundtrack. I figured since I liked both of those songs so much, why not give the album from which they came from a shot. Bad idea. Stinky, again with a few exceptions. Pass
Shirley Horn- But Beautiful; The Best of © 2005
Sorority Row [Soundtrack] © 2009
Essential Jazz © 1999
Kon Kan- Syntonic © 1990
Comments: Still hankerin’ for some Kon Kan since I loved I Beg Your Pardon so much, I picked this CD up super cheap at a pawn shop and thought ‘What the heck! Why not.’ It’s not awful, but it’s not great either. It’s one saving grace was a great sampling of Jimmy Soul’s If You Wanna Be Happy (For The Rest of Your Life) in their song (Could’ve Said) I Told You So. It sounds like a song that should have been on the Threesome soundtrack. Dig it a lot. Other than that…not so much. Pass
Barry Manilow- I’d Really Love to See You Tonight [Single] © 1997
Comments:
Dvořák- Symphony #8 © 1994
Tales From the Edge- Vol. 7&8 © 1993

Cerrone 3- Supernature © 1977

CAN NOT stop listening to this CD! I heard the song ‘Supernature‘ on satellite radio and have been hooked ever since. It’s so crazy to think something this timeless came out when I was SEVEN years old! Crazy. Most definitely inspired by German synth and Giorgio Moroder. I never knew 6 tracks could bring so much pleasure. If Supernature doesn’t get you moving, you must be dead. Highly recommended!

OMG that song was incredible. I LOVE discovering “new to me” old techno/70′s/80s music. It’s like the Holy Grail. THANKS!
