When Madonna’s single, Vogue, from her I’m Breathless album (music from and inspired by the film Dick Tracy), originally premiered in 1990, I fell in love with it. THEN, after seeing the video, I fell in love with “Slam.” Slam’s real name is Salim Gauwloos, and he was the face in Madonna’s Vogue video. Perfect in every way. That nose! BEAUTIFUL! *sigh*
I recently bought the video on iTunes and was falling in love all over again, when I started to wonder what Slam was up to now. I found a couple of interviews and thought I would share them with you. Enjoy!
