Tissue Box Art

I‘ll admit it: I’m a tissue box enthusiast. I LOVE finding new, interesting designs. The interesting thing is that the cheaper the tissue, the more interesting the design. Here are a few of my current favorites:

• This is the top of the tissue box shown at the bottom. I haven’t loved a tissue box design this much in a long time. Of course, it’s because it’s a book theme. So clever! The top of the box (shown here) is an aerial view of the pages of the books displayed on the sides of the box. Clever! Kroger Brand
• I love the colors on this one. I also love the asian theme. Safeway Brand (Tom Thumb, Randall’s)
• This design comes in a light olive color, a tan and a gray-blue. Target Brand
• I’ve loved paisley since the 80′s. I have fond memories of getting a BEAUTIFUL black and white paisley, long-sleeved button-up shirt in the bargain basement of Joske’s in San Antonio, back in the mid 80′s. It was THE shit! I loved to layer it with another collared shirt that was hot pink. Beautiful. And that’s why I love this design: paisley. Kleenex Brand
• I love cool colors (as opposed to warm ones), especially in the spring, so this box was too beautiful to pass up. Plus, I can’t imagine it being in any other color that would make as much of an impact as green. Store/Paseo Brand (Elrod’s Cost-Plus)
• This design has a very folksy, abstract feel to it. I can imagine seeing it embroidered on an Incan-style dress. Kleenex Brand
• I think this was a limited design, for the back-to-school season and/or cold & flu season. It’s supposed to be germs and other irritants all over the box. Very pop. I love it. Kleenex Brand
• As I mentioned earlier, I love this design the most. Spines of books adorn all four sides of this regular-sized box of tissues. May be back-to-school overstock. I’m stocking up! Kroger Brand
