Whatever. Being a hunk is so awful!! Boo-hoo. Apparently some guy named Jeremy Jackson, who played “Hobie” on the television show, Baywatch, is addicted to “HGH (human growth hormone) injections.” As such, he’s the newest cast member on the Vh-1 reality show Celebrity Rehab.
First off, I have no clue who this guy is because I’ve never seen an episode of Baywatch. After Google Image searching him, apparently he started out on the show really young. Teens? So, I read this panicked snippet of how he’s “addicted to hormone injections” (I love how they make it sound almost spa-like, like it’s not steroids) and now “fears his fitness obsession has taken over his life.” Hilarious.
First off, I don’t have a problem with bodybuilders taking steroids (the bigger the better I say!), because it’s just become SO pervasive in the “sport” (don’t get me started) that’s it’s pretty much a given any more. Big deal; professional athletes, that’s another story (again…don’t get me started). So, steroid issue aside, this guy has nothing to worry about any time soon. I can’t tell you how many stories I’ve read about dead bodybuilders, dying from “heart complications” (read ‘steroids’), but they usually live to be at least 30…some 50+! So buck up, camper, you have plenty of time to be adulated!
Which brings me back to Jeremy. From what I’ve read, he’s had a nose job, and he was a meth addict. He kicked the habit, but replaced it with a new one: steroids. What else is new? It’s pretty apparent that he’s very big on his physical appearance (like most steroid users), so why the drama? It’s all par for the course (like these people don’t now that. C’mon!). I seriously doubt he’s suffering too much, considering he has the time to have pictures taken like the ones shown here. And I’m sure he’s garnering more than his fair share of attention from the ladehs, which is the whole point, right; money and chicks? I say go for it. Seriously. You can pay for it later with heart or kidney failure. In the meantime, enjoy the ride, bro.
