Wow. I haven’t done a ‘Foodiephile‘ post since July of last year! I knew some of these pictures were old, but I didn’t realize HOW OLD! Although some of these date back to August of last year, old or not, everything was delicious!

• Annie Chun’s Black Pearl Sticky Rice
Comments: First off, I prefer Annie Chun’s noodles over other brands (esp. Simple Asia!). They just taste better. So, it was without hesitation that I bought Annie’s black pearl sticky rice (plus, it didn’t hurt that it was on clearance for $1.59). It’s delicious and very versatile. AND it’s very chopstick-friendly (more so than fried rice). I like to eat it with a little teriyaki chicken or mixed vegetables. Recommend!
• Alternative Baking Company’s Snicker Doodle Cookie
Comments: I looooove snicker doodles. So, naturally I fell prey to the impulse buy area at the checkout at Whole Foods (cue the ‘ooh-la-las’). I didn’t miss the oil, dairy or eggs. Delish!
• 100% Grass-Fed Beef
Comments: I feel like Paul Revere, in the sense that I think I’ve done everything short of getting on a horse and riding through town announcing how friggin’ GOOD grass-fed beef is! I saw it at Whole Foods, and since it was comparable to what I pay for ground beef at Kroger, etc., I decided to give it a shot. W O W. What a monumental difference! The texture, the (lack of) smell, the taste. Even the way my body processed it. Completely different than the stuff I buy at the other grocery stores. I would definitely recommend that you give it a try. I won’t buy anything else.

Created a meal out of necessity the other night and thought I would share, since it was SO easy and turned out quite delicious:
- 1 pkg. Sea Pak shrimp scampi
- 1 pkg Green Giant ‘antioxidant blend’: broccoli florets, julienne carrots and red & yellow sweet pepper strips in a garlic herb infused extra virgin olive oil seasoning
- Barilla thin spaghetti (though angel hair pasta or any other brand would have worked as well)
Just prepare them as directed on the packaging and combine. Mix thoroughly. Get out the chopsticks!

Priest- To be honest, I originally ignored the urge to watch this trailer because I have the 1994 version of Priest ingrained in my memory and my first thought was “Do we really need a 3D remake of a gay priest movie?” I was mistaken. Wrong priest. This was a totally different priest.
So, when I finally watched the trailer, I was kinda excited that it was a vampire movie. It actually looked kinda interesting. And that’s why I rented it from RedBox. Here’s a brief synopsis for those unfamiliar with the film: A priest disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece. (more…)

This pretty much sums up how I’ve been feeling lately. (more…)
Okay, it looks like we’ve reached our last installment of the Grindr series. I had originally intended on doing one more, but I don’t have enough material (shocking, I know!). However, in the process of writing these, naturally I stumbled upon more weirdos, so this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Grindr.
Today’s installment is all about the profiles that induced my gag reflex. Keep in mind, these are just a SAMPLING. There’s plenty more, but there are so many hours in a day, people! Get a load of the Profiles from Hell… (more…)
