Like, O M G! A friend of mine recently sent me a link to an article about how Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are expecting baby #20. Well, I was so excited about the blessed event that I took it upon myself to send Michelle a congratulatory e-mail (even though computers are nothing more than devil boxes!). Well, one of her kids who’s been giving the job of E-Mail Intermediary, secretly confided in me that though Michelle, is only 4 months pregnant (the original due date was slated for April), she has secretly given birth prematurely and…IT’S A GIRL! Ah, eighties teen party memories. I stumbled across these whilst looking for a seasonal windsock (they were all faded…dammit). I think I threw a Halloween party every year since I was 13. I miss the 80′s and their graphics. Everything started going to hell once 3D rendering kicked in and shadows and highlights became the norm. It was the final nail in the coffin of my beloved cereal characters. My kingdom for a 1 dimensional Sugar Bear (Super Sugar Crisp) or Lucky the Leprechaun (Lucky Charms). *sigh*
As you know, I normally don’t blog about work, because, well, who wants to read about that? HOWEVER, sometimes there are exceptions, and this is one of them…
For the most part, work is fine. It’s a job. It pays the bills. And, for the most part, I get along with 95% of the people I work with. As with any retail job, it’s not the employees as much as the public at large that I take issue with. (more…)
